Tennis Tigers win one of 3
The Tiger tennis girls stayed busy last week as they competed in three matches.
They ended the week with a contest with their neighbor to the north, Red Wing on Aug. 26. The Wingers took the title 5-2.
Finding success at No. 4 singles was Elsie Weinrich going the distance in three sets for the win, 4-6, 6-2, 6-3.
Kaylee Muenzhuber narrowly lost her point at No. 3 singles in a three set battle, 3-6, 6-2, 5-7.
Sarah Ziebarth at No. 2 singles and Ava Wallerich at No. 1 singles were both outplayed 2-6, 2-6 in their matches.
