Tiger baseball wins two close games to advance in section tournament

The Lake City varsity baseball team opened Section 1AA tournament play in familiar fashion…winning close games behind clutch hitting, resilience, and dominant pitching performances. The No. 3 seeded Tigers defeated No. 14 Fillmore Central/Lanesboro in a dramatic 3–2 walk-off victory on Wednesday before following it up with a 2–1 win over No. 6 Zumbrota-Mazeppa on Saturday.
