Tiger bowlers qualify for state competition

Saturday, Nov. 11, brought the Lake City High School bowlers to Preston for conference roll-offs.

The day started with an eight game qualifier which was based on total pins. After qualifier varsity had 1432 for total pinfall. They averaged 179 in those eight games. They were seeded third going into brackets. First up for the Tigers was Winona where they lost after two games 420 to 322 total pins. Varsity will go on to bowl state on Saturday, Nov. 18 at Echo Lanes in Austin.
