Tiger girls advance 10 to Section 1A meet
On Wednesday, May 20, the Lake City High School girls track and field team competed at the Section 1A Sub-Section 3 Meet hosted by Plainview-Elgin-Millville. Plainview-Elgin-Millville captured the girls team title with 151 points, followed by Cannon Falls (124), Kenyon-Wanamingo-Goodhue (113), Wabasha-Kellogg (97), Lake City (90), Zumbrota-Mazeppa (75), Medford (21), Minnesota State Academy (13), and Randolph (10).
The Tigers qualified 10 athletes for the Section 1A Meet, scheduled to be held at Triton High School on May 26 and 28.
