Tiger girls beat Cannon Falls 78-44

On Tuesday night the Lake City High School girls basketball team hosted Cannon Falls in the home Hiawatha Valley League (HVL) opener.

Lake City got off to a good start by scoring in bunches. They had a 25-11 lead before Cannon Falls came back with a smaller run. The pace continued after that for the Tigers and they found themselves ahead 42-21 at half.

The second half had many similarities to the first. This allowed the Tigers to finish the game with a very comfortable win in their home opener against the Bombers 78-44.
