Tiger girls stumble vs ranked Plainview-Elgin-Millville team

In its first game of the new year, the Lake City High School girls basketball team faced one of its toughest tests of the season so far when it hosted Plainview-Elgin-Millville (PEM) Jan. 5.

AA PEM’s only loss of the season came in overtime Dec. 30 at the hands of Rochester-Mayo, a AAAA division team that is also 8-1.

PEM’s defensive pressure stymied Lake City’s offense and led to a 81-30 Bulldog victory.
