Tiger girls win battle over D-E Eagles

The Tigers hosted the Dover-Eyota Eagles on Thursday, Jan. 16, looking to increase their winning streak to seven games.  Lake City won the battle 70-60.
The Eagles got a couple of quick baskets on the Tigers and led 5-0 early.  Ava Wallerich hit a 3-pointer from the top of the key. Then Natalie Bremer grabbed a steal and tied up the game.  
The Tigers and Eagles exchanged baskets keeping the score close and changing the lead several times.  The game was tied at 17 with 10:46 left in the first half.
