Tiger softball struggles against Pine Island

Lake City’s battle on the softball field against Pine Island’s Panthers was another rough outing for the Tigers, who lost 12-1.

By the time the Tigers got their first try at the plate, Pine Island had six runs on the board. And the Panthers sent the Tigers back out to the field after only four batters.

The second and third innings were much better for Lake City as they held Pine Island to their six runs.

But along came the fourth inning where Pine Island started hitting the gaps and added another three runs.
