Tigers boys notch 2nd win in two games

On the longest in-state road trip of the season, Lake City overcame a slow start to post a convincing 71-42 non-conference victory over Maple River on Saturday afternoon. Nathan Heise scored a career-high 21 points, which included five three-pointers as the Tigers moved to 2-0 on the young season.  
Perhaps fatigued from a long bus ride coupled with an odd tip off time, the Tigers found themselves in an early 10-0 hole six minutes into the contest.  Lake City misfired on its first eight shot attempts from the field and had two early turnovers as Maple River took control.
