Tigers hold off St. Charles rally to win 10-9
The Lake City Varsity Baseball Team extended its win streak to three games with a win last Thursday (April 18th) in St. Charles against the Saints. The Tigers had a 10-2 lead going into the bottom of the 7th and cut a St. Charles rally just short to scrape by with a victory.
The Tigers got the scoring going in the top of the first after Karch Hegge led the inning off with a double down the left field line. He would eventually score, being driven in by a Carter West groundout, giving West his first of three RBIs on the day.
