A tough opponent during a quiet week for Tiger tennis

Last week was an exceptionally quiet competition week for the Tiger boys tennis team with only one match being played.

Monday’s match with Red Wing had to be postponed due to the impending storms that hit southeastern Minnesota.

On Tuesday the Tigers hosted the Rochester Lourdes Eagles in what again proved to be a difficult match up. The Eagles ended up earning all seven points despite strong efforts from the Tigers.

Singles:

• No. 1 - Jack Meincke, 2-6, 2-6

• No. 2 - Maddox Shones, 0-6, 3-6
