V-ball Tigers bow to PEM in Section 1AA East opener

The Lake City Tiger girls volleyball team was defeated by Plainview-Elgin-Millville (PEM) Oct. 29 in the opening round of the Section 1AA East volleyball tournament.
The Bulldogs played strong and defeated the Tigers in three straight games, 25-7, 25-17, 25-20, ending Lake City’s playoff hopes.
PEM continued their surge on Saturday and defeated St. Charles 3-2.
The 1AA East championship game will be played Thursday, Nov. 5 at Mayo Civic Center, 7:30 p.m. PEM will face Red Wing.
