Volleyball season ends with loss to defending state champs

The final game of the 2020 volleyball season didn’t quite end the way Lake City’ Tigers would have wished, but it certainly wasn’t a failure.
This group of young ladies that have played, laughed, and cried together since fifth grade walked off the court in Stewartville at night’s end with smiles on their faces and pride in their hearts.
It was hardly surprising that state champion Stewartville took the lead right away.
