Volleyball Tigers lose battle with Byron
As a major storm brewed outside and pounded the roof of the Byron High School gym Sept. 24, a war between well-matched rivals took place inside.
The Byron Bears were very obviously back to avenge themselves after losing in three to the Lake City Tigers at the Rochester National Volleyball Center Invite Aug. 31.
The first set looked very promising for the Tigers initially as Elyse Dalager placed the ball for Olivia Pennington to slam it into blockers who sent the ball whirling out of bounds for the first point of the night.
