It took a match against the Goodhue Wildcats for the Tigers to get in their groove on Goodhue’s court, Nov. 18, but once they did, there was no stopping them.
Match one started a little rough for Lake City as they found themselves behind 2-11 until Ava Brunn and Hannah Labonte stepped up and sent several winning hits over the net.
As the score climbed faster for Goodhue than Lake City, Coach Kirk Thornton called a time out for the Tigers to get their heads in the game.
