Wrestlers to host section quarterfinal Thursday
On Tuesday, Feb. 4, the wrestling Tigers challenged the Kenyon-Wanamingo (KW) Knights. The entire evening was a series of back and forth wins and losses for both teams, and the match ended with the Knights pulling out on top with a score of 31-24. Jon Harvey (120) and Nash Nelson (126) picked up falls and the other wins came from Luke Skifton (132), Derek Meincke (170), Sam Nutt (182), and Max Balow (285).
Last Thursday, the team traveled to Stewartville with their A game. They defeated the maroon Tigers 67-12 with an outstanding 10 pins, one decision, and one major decision.
