Wrestlers win three of four, including important conference matchup
The Lake City (LC) High School wrestling team took to the mat for four duals again this week, coming out on top in three of the meets.
On Thursday, Feb. 18, the Tigers hosted Hiawatha Valley League (HVL) opponent Cannon Falls along with non-conference opponent Chatfield. In the opening dual Lake City came out on top of Cannon Falls by the score of 50-24. The win was highlighted by pins from senior 120 pounder Steven Ramirez, 126 pound freshman Elijah Dodd and 182 pound junior Sam Nutt.
