Wrestling season resumes after 18-day lay-off

This past week the Lake City High School Tiger wrestlers got back into competition for the first time since Dec. 18 competing in 7 dual meets.

The 18 day lay-off ended on Thursday as the team traveled to Goodhue and dropped a 45-27 match to Kenyon-Wanamingo and then lost to Goodhue by the score of 54-14.

On Saturday the team bounced back with a strong performance at the 12-team Eden Prairie/Waconia Duals. Lake City opened with a pair of victories, the first one against Perham 39-36 followed by a 60-12 win over Eden Prairie.
