Yotter sets school record in 1600 meters

In a remarkable display of speed and determination, Olivia Yotter etched her name into the record books at the Pine Island Invitational on Tuesday, May 13, by breaking a long-standing school record in the 1600-meter run.

Yotter clocked an impressive time of 5:17.07, shaving over a second off the previous record of 5:18.7, which had stood unchallenged since 1988. The former record was held by Jody Buck.
