Church holds drive-in worship services during pandemic

On May 17, Valley View Assembly of God began Drive In Church in their parking lot with service being held at 10 a.m. on Sunday morning.

Upon arrival people are directed where to park their vehicles in a semi-circle around the parking lot to observe the Pastor Sandberg and worship team under the portico.

Signs are out as to what FM radio station to turn to in order to hear the worship service. Total service time is 40 to 45 minutes including a couple of songs.

The public is welcome to join the worship service at 10 a.m. Attendees should plan to arrive 10 to 20 minutes early so vehicles can be parked before the 10 a.m. service start time.

Worshippers are asked to remain in their vehicles during the service. Use of restrooms inside the church is discouraged except for urgencies.

Valley View Assembly of God Church is located at 350 West Grant St. (Goodhue County Road 5). People can call the church office between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday through Friday at 651-345-3432 with questions.
