Dinners, music to mark Thanksgiving Day in Lake City
There are a few opportunities to be thankful around Lake City on Thanksgiving Day.
First up on Thursday, Nov. 23, are two free thanksgiving dinners.
Lake City Family Restuarant, 101 E. Center Street, will be serving a free turkey dinner from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Bethany Lutheran Church, 525 S. 6th Street, will again host an annual free Thanksgiving meal from noon to 1:30 p.m. On the menu is roast turkey, stuffing, baked squash, vegetable, salad and dessert.
