Electric Cooperative's round-up program benefits local organizations
Funds raised by Goodhue County Cooperative Electric members recently benefitted Lake City organizations.
In June the Lake City Fire Department received $1,000 to help purchase new boots and turnout gear. The Lake City American Legion received $500 to help fund its summer baseball team.
Other organizations receiving grants at that time included the Wanamingo Fire Department, Zumbrota Area Ambulance, the Goodhue County Historical Society, the Packing for the Weekend food program, and Lake City Nordic Ski Club.
