Flag dedication to be June 20 in Veterans Park
The American Legion and Auxiliary members will be placing 600 American flags along Highway 61/63 north from Park Street north toward the Willows. This patriotic display will be from June 20-24.
Anyone who is interested in helping to set up the display on Wednesday, June 20, is asked to be at Veterans Park by 9 a.m. Volunteers can attach flags to poles, assemble poles, carry flags, and attach memorial cards to each pole. Similarly, on Monday, June 25 at 9 a.m., volunteers will disassemble the flags and poles, fold the flags and return them to the donor trailer.
