Frontenac ice fishing contest is Sept. 11
The Frontenac Sportsman’s Club is having its 37th annual ice fishing contest on Sept. 11.
“Due to the global pandemic, our usual ice fishing extravaganza in February was canceled,” the club said. “COVID can’t stop us from dusting off some ice shacks in September for an overdue celebration.”
Festivities take place from 11:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. at the Frontenac Community Center.
“Frontenac’s largest Bingo event of the summer” begins at 11:30 a.m. and features indoor and outdoor seating.
Huettl’s Meats will have a food stand.
