Girls win fourth straight Section 1AA golf title
The Lake City Girls Golf (LC) team captured the Section 1AA Girls Golf Tournament title on May 28 and May 30th at Northern Hills Golf Course. It marks the fourth consecutive season the Tigers have won the title.
On Day 1, LC shot a 343 to take an eleven stroke lead over Pine Island-Zumbrota-Mazeppa (PIZM) 354 followed by Byron 356, Red Wing 370, Caledonia 382, Lourdes 401, Winona 405, Chatfield 422, St. Charles 426, Stewartville 427, Kasson-Mantorville 447, Cannon Falls 451, Plainview-Elgin-Millville, 483, and Cotter 499.
