To help Lake Pepin, go against the flow

Of the many factors contributing to the rapid sedimentation that threatens to shorten the life of Lake Pepin by millenia, researchers have identified one that, if it could be addressed, would have a huge impact.

“You can reduce everything if you just reduce the flow,” said Carrie Jennings to members of the Lake Pepin Legacy Alliance at the non-profit’s annual member meeting Aug. 17 at the Lake City Sportsman’s Club.
