Lake City lost five WWII vets in 2018

Lake City lost five of its World War II veterans in 2018 – Donald Palmer who served in the Air Force; Babe TerBorch, Robert Suskovic, and Melvin Liljevall who served in the US Navy; and Donald Dahling who served in the Army. Like their surviving comrades today, our Lake City WWII veterans were all in their 90s and were charter members of the Greatest Generation, serving in the Army, Navy and Air Force.
