Mayo names contractor for $1.1 million emergency department expansion

Construction to expand and remodel the emergency department (ED) at Mayo Clinic Health System is scheduled to begin in the coming months and will be managed by Weis Builders of Rochester, Minn, Mayo Clinic Health System in Lake City has announced.
The $1.1 million investment is intended to improve the overall patient experience and enhance patient and staff safety.
