Meal delivery for ages 18 and under continues through June

Free meal delivery for ages 18 and under from the Lake City School District will continue at least through the month of June.

Weekly deliveries will happen on Thursdays and include supplies for breakfast and lunches. The first delivery was six days of supplies. Subsequent deliveries will contain seven days worth.

Anyone interested in receiving a delivery should call 651-345-2198 or email eenger@lake-city.k12.mn.us.

Curbside meal pick-up is available on Monday (two breakfasts and two lunches) and Wednesday (three breakfasts and three lunches) at Bluff View Elementary.

Curb-side pickup is open to all kids age 18 and under. There is no need to sign up, people can just go to Bluff View between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays.

According to Enger, the school district has distributed 55,463 meal between the beginning of the pandemic and June 1.
