From meh to 'Masterchef'

Growing up in Millville, Shari Mukherjee just wasn’t that interested in food.

“I was a terrible cook,” she said. “I guess I had no interest in cooking really. Growing up with a very midwestern palette, I definitely didn’t have exposure to different ethnic foods, spices, that kind of thing.”

That changed when she met her future in-laws, who like her husband are from India.
