Ohl: Troubled Water
We saw the low dark clouds approaching, but we were not too worried as we could still eyeball the boat landing. We had found a hot spot near a small rocky island where the walleyes were biting so we foolishly lingered. In just minutes we were surprised by a strong wind that swooped into us, and the growing waves. We hurriedly pulled the anchor and headed into the waves toward the landing. In five minutes, we would be safe. The boat became a carnival ride as it began bucking in the high foam topped waves. There was a jolt, the motor revved, and the boat stopped moving forward.
