Swap and Supper carries boxes, burdens

The Common Needs Swap and Supper on Saturday, Oct. 17, located at New Hope Church in Lake City, witnessed the busiest event turnout yet.

The purpose of the swap event is to “bring what you can and take what you need”. Winter gear poured in during donation hours and the cold weather items left just as quickly throughout the event.

Attendees enjoyed a free meal downstairs which included a bowl of homemade soup, side of bread, and dessert. Complimentary coffee and hot cider were served upstairs.
