Tiger boys seeded third in section tourney
March Madness is back as the field has been set for the 2022 Section 1AA Boys Basketball Tournament.
Lake City received the third seed in the 15-team field and will square off with fourteenth seed Blooming Prairie (4-21) on Thursday, Mar. 3 at 7 p.m. at Lincoln High School. The Awesome Blossoms moved up to class AA just this season having competed in Section 1A previously, winning the tournament most recently in 2020. This will be the first meeting between the schools since 1997.
