Schmidt honored for 31 years with the City of Lake City

The City Council honored Jim Schmidt for his 31 years of work with the city’s electric utility department during Monday night’s council meeting. Mayor Joel Beckman (left) made the presentation. Schmidt began working with the department in May 1985 and recently retired.
