Council mulls beach plan implementation

With the final plan for Ohuta Park beach delivered, the city council had a lengthy workshop discussion Monday, Dec. 9, about how to implement it.

The plan from WSB called for a four phase project with an estimated cost of over $7 million.

City Administrator Rob Keehn asked the council for direction on phasing, or the order in which to perform the work. He also asked for their questions on costs. Lastly he wanted to discuss next steps “so we can keep the ball rolling for you.”
