Detour tweaks continue, utility work expands on Highway 61

Officials reported continued efforts to route traffic in and around Lake City during the Highway 61 reconstruction project weekly update meeting Tuesday, May 12.
Chestnut Street emerged as the preferred route into downtown Lake City for many drivers, leading to concerns and a few minor accidents at the corner of Chestnut Street and High Street.
