EDA gives hotel developer an extension

The Lake City Economic Development Authority (EDA) voted to give David Rodewald a 90 day extension to satisfy the terms of a letter of understanding between he and the EDA.

The letter promises Rodewald that the EDA will not enter into negotiations to sell the former Conoco gas station property on Block 13 while Rodewald develops the concept for a hotel on the site, according to a July news release from the EDA.
