Lake City: Birthplace of world-class hospicing?

Lake City Sanctuary Hospice will have its tax abatement, if it can reach an agreement with the City Council on a development agreement by Friday.
In a 5-2 vote, the council voted to approve the abatement, which would refund up to a total of $800,000 in city property taxes over 20 years, provided the city and developers can reach a development agreement by Friday, Nov. 17.
