Parents, check your email: School district

Lake City Public Schools is asking parents and guardians to be diligent to checking their emails from the district and the school website, Supt. Erick Enger said Tuesday.

The district is poised to embark on a distance learning model during the COVID-19 pandemic, and email will be used to deliver important messages to parents during this time.

“We are extremely cautious of using our notifications so when we do, it truly matters and is important to our families,” Enger said. “If you have a student in our schools and are not currently receiving email correspondence from us please contact the school your student attends immediately.”

He said families that do not receive school messages electronically have taken the appropriatev steps to ensure they receive the information in a different manner.

“We just want to be sure all our families are informed one way or another and we will do whatever we can to ensure this,” Enger said.

The Lake City Public Schools website is lake-city.k12.mn.us. The Bluff View Elementary School phone number is 651-345-4551. Lincoln High School’s is 651-345-4553.
