Presidential primary is Tuesday, March 3

Minnesota’s new presidential primary election will take place Tuesday, March 3.
The date is informally known as Super Tuesday because of all the presidential primaries taking place around the country on that day. Minnesota joined them after the state legislature passed a bill in 2016 creating a presidential primary in Minnesota.
Before this election, presidential preference ballots were recorded at party caucuses.
