Updated: School board filing open through July 28
Of the three Lake City School Board members whose terms are ending in January, one has filed for re-election, one doesn’t plan to file, and a third said he will seek another term.
As of Monday, July 20, incumbent Jim Siewert was the lone filer for the three available seats in the November election, according to the Minnesota Secretary of State candidate filing website.
The filing period began July 14 and runs through Tuesday, July 28.
Also on Monday, Jake Schumacher said “as of today I am not seeking re-election.”
