Union president says paras looking forward to working with district

Last week the Graphic published a story on the formation of a union representing the more than 20 paraprofessionals in the Lake City School District.
Michelle Seydel was a leader of that effort and is now president of the union local.
“Forming a local has been in talks for some time,” she said. “This time around the big difference was timing and having someone take charge and spearhead the process.”
