Wabasha County approves 5% levy hike, looks at transportation sales tax

Without further comment or discussion at their Sept. 22 meeting, the Wabasha County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the 2016 property tax levy at $13,661,745, showing 5 percent increase over 2015.
All Commissioners were present, along with County Administrator Michael Plante and County Attorney Karrie Kelly.
Finance Director Debbie Koenig presented the property tax levy and after that, the budget for 2016.
