Big Winter Doings - 6th Winterfest is Friday, Saturday
The sixth annual Lake City Winterfest offers over a dozen things to do beginning the evening of Friday, Jan. 31, and running all day Saturday.
Ron Hooge, who serves as the lead organizer of the annual event, said favorite events from past year’s are back and bigger than ever.
The ice golf course on Lake Pepin near Lake House Restaurant has been rearranged to give players more of a challenge, he said.
Out at The Jewel Golf Club, site of the Fired Up! Fat Bike Tour, organizers are reporting better trail conditions than in past years.
