Ohuta Park developments approved 5-2

Work on the Ohuta Park redevelopment is expected to begin this summer.

On Jan. 13, the Lake City City Council voted 5-2 to approve the Ohuta Park Special Area Plan developed for the city by WSB and a three-year phased construction program. Cindy McGrath and Faye Brown voted against the measure.

The total estimated cost of the project in the agenda was $4.4 million. City Planning and Community Development identified $3.178 million in available funding for the project.
