Program prescribes fresh veggies

A community-focused effort to boost fresh vegetables’ status in meal planning has launched at the Wabasha Farmers Market.
Called Veggie RX, the program encourages shoppers to select from more than a dozen peak-season produce items, order and pay for them online on the Farmers Market’s Facebook page, and pick them up in a drive-through line at the weekly Wednesday market in downtown Wabasha.
