Three join fire department
Three new firefighters have joined the Lake City Fire Department.
The fire department welcomed Jacob Schumacher, Brian Smith, and Tristan Montroy to the department in a Facebook post.
“The day they turned in their applications was the easy part. Now they will spend the next year studying and becoming state certified in firefighting and (hazardous materials), as well as learning about (standard operation procedures) and operations of the Lake City Fire Department,” the department said in the post.
