Childhood cancer awareness walk is Saturday in Patton Park

The Lake City Area Childhood Cancer Awareness (LCACCA) group is hosting a walk on Sept. 26 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Patton Park, and is hoping to raise enough funds to help fund research, and create awareness, provide scholarships and give back to an organization they were a part of while going through treatment.
LCACCA started in 2018, and last year was able to provide two $1,000 scholarships to local seniors.
