Council awards bid for first phase of Ohuta Park project
The Ohuta Park redevelopment project moved one step closer Oct. 12 when the Lake City City Council awarded the Phase I bid to Glander Excavating on a 5-2 vote.
Council Members Cindy McGrath and Faye Brown voted against the motion.
The company will prepare sites for the seven trailers that will be moved to Marina Point. Tasks include earthwork, tree removal, installation of new water and sewer lines and service connections, and preparation of the site pad and finish grades.
