Boe provides Mayo update
Lake City City Council Member Russell Boe provided updates on Mayo Clinic Health System in Lake City at the Nov. 9 city council meeting.
Boe is the council’s representative on the Mayo Community Board, which has some oversight authority over hospital operations.
Mayo is in the midst of a three-phase plan to move from 24-hour, 7-days-a-week certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) coverage in the emergency room to respiratory therapists.
Both are able to provide intubation to patients who need it.
